125th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

125th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

In 2022, Berkshire will celebrate the 125th Anniversary of its founding. From its humble beginnings in February 1897, Berkshire found a home on Warren Street in Boston, then at 17 Rockville Park in Roxbury. From there, Beacon Street in Brookline was the location before moving to the far reaches of the Commonwealth in idyllic Lenox. Today, Berkshire has created a niche through its creative programs and partnerships. Its rich heritage and diverse ministry continue to impact the theological landscape of the local church across North America and around the world as Berkshire Christian provides training for men and women called to serve the Lord – a critical factor required for local church survival and success. Under the leadership of BCC alumna Arlene Wiggins Barbour and a team of individuals, groundwork is being laid

for a celebration of God’s faithfulness in the past and present, to increase awareness, unite the Berkshire community and grow support for Berkshire’s vision for the future – giving praise and glory to God, for His hand in it all. Watch for more details in the spring.
