New Adjunct Faculty Appointed

In May the Berkshire Board of Trustees voted to appoint Penelope Vann and Kimon Nicolaides as new Adjunct Faculty members. We welcome them with gratefulness for their willingness to serve. A brief bio of these is provided.

Penelope Vann’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Berkshire Christian College and a Master of Arts from Columbia International University, with a concentration in missions. She has served with Advent Christian world missions and has experience teaching church history, global history, missions, Old Testament, and the Psalms. Most of her teaching background in higher education is from Oro Bible College in the Philippines. Additionally, while at Oro Bible College she served as Dean of Field Education, a position which provided oversight to practicums and internships.

Kimon Nicolaides holds a BA in Theology from BCC, an M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary, a Th.M. and D.Min. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. His experience includes several years of teaching while serving as a Chaplain in the US Army, including the Old and New Testaments as well as other courses developed to engage soldiers with learning God’s word. He believes higher education helps to “prepare young people to appreciate who they are in a society and where they are going.”
