Distance Learning: Woman studying from home

Berkshire offers numerous opportunities to develop your Christian leadership abilities, whether you are a pastor, church leader, layperson, BCC alumni, or simply want to pursue educational enrichment in a Christian setting.

You can take advantage of courses offered through eBerkshire or our TEMPE program for personal enrichment or in pursuit of a certificate. Course offerings through our distance education program provide learning opportunities that fit within your schedule and commitments.

eBerkshire

Berkshire launched eBerkshire during the Fall 2009, our latest innovation for developing Christian leaders. eBerkshire allows you to take selected courses from your own home ... or wherever you have access to the internet.

Theological Education and Ministry Preparation by Extension (TEMPE)

Many of the TEMPE courses were created to address a number of issues faced by pastors and lay leaders in the church as well as courses that facilitate examination of the Bible in ways that will enrich a student’s life. TEMPE identified courses are primarily taken through a correspondence, self-directed model (however some are able to be registered for through eBerkshire). Students who register for TEMPE courses will be assigned an academic advisory/faculty member who will assist students in understanding course requirements as well as evaluate assignments, papers, and exams.
