Redemption, Resurrection, and Restoration: Themes of a Biblical Theology

TB04 • 3 Units

This course takes a close look at “the whole Gospel for the whole person” through an in-depth examination of Biblical teachings concerning Redemption, Resurrection, and the Restoration of All Things. While considering God’s work in these three areas throughout the Church age, students will become familiar with Biblical themes relating to God making all things new in the final completion of human history at the time of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ to earth. Views of the following will be examined:

  •  The nature of humankind,
  •  The work of God in salvation,
  •  Judgment,
  •  Final punishment, and
  •  The promise of the new heavens and the new earth.

Students will interact with these Biblical ideas to determine their application in the life and practice of the Church and individual believer.
