Berkshire offers numerous opportunities to develop your Christian leadership abilities, whether you are a pastor, church leader, layperson, BCC alumni, or simply want to pursue educational enrichment in a Christian setting.
Course offerings through our distance education program provide learning opportunities that fit within your schedule and commitments. We are committed to supporting students pursue their educational, ministerial, and personal goals as they seek to build their knowledge and skills as Christian leaders.
Launched in the fall of 2009, eBerkshire allows you to take selected courses from your own home ... or wherever you have access to the internet. eBerkshire courses address issues faced by pastors and lay leaders in the church and facilitate examination of the Bible in ways that will enrich a student’s life. Once registered, students are given online access to our learning system where they will interact with other students and faculty members. Courses range from C.S. Lewis Literature, to Survey of the Old Testament to Advent Christian Theology.
Two certificate programs are offered by Berkshire for Pastors and Church Leaders to expand service to Christ and His Church.
Local Learning Centers
Periodically, courses offered through Distance Education & Learning are available at various churches and/or campground locations with a "classroom" experience. Such offerings are available when there are 10 or more people in a location interested in taking such a course offering. Additionally, a hybrid offering can be made with this same type of constellation of students where some of the work is done on-line but the group comes together periodically throughout the course. If you are interested in this form of course delivery please contact us and someone will respond to begin the coordination of such a course.
