Local Learning Centers

Courses can be delivered at a location (usually a church) where a group of 10 or more students register for the course. In some cases, several churches join together to offer a LLC course. These courses can strengthen the churches as well as being very rewarding for individual participants. Berkshire helps plan and administer the course as well as provides a qualified instructor to guide the learning sessions.

Benefits of Local Learning Center courses

  • Convenient access to college-level courses that provide opportunity to join in community with other believers to better understand God, His Word, and how you can more effectively serve Him.
  • Facilitation of rich in-person interaction with instructor and fellow students
  • Courses are available that will deepen your knowledge of the Bible and its application
  • Bible courses bring the scriptures to life in fresh and practical ways

Additionally, “hybrid” course offerings may be a part of the local learning centers, where some of the course work is done online. Students meet together periodically with the instructor who guides and facilitates group sharing and input. Hybrid courses also require a minimum of 10 students who are able to travel to a central location as scheduled.
